In recent years, a lot of work has been done behind the scenes to keep the Study Bible up to date.
- There is new literature appeared and new archaeological discoveries have been made, these have been incorporated into the text or footnotes.
- Some sentences are now clearer formulated, and sometimes the application is extensive.
- When writing the commentary at the time, it was only possible to refer to previous commentaries. Since the Study Bible is now complete, it is also possible to refer to the explanations in the following books of the Bible.
- Furthermore, the Septuagint (LXX) and added an English translation of the LXX.
- We also worked on the usability of the app through technical improvements.
- In recent years, verse-by-verse commentary has been updated in 22 books of the Bible.
- More than 25 new articles have been added and many more have been updated.

The Old Testament
The commentary is revised with text improvements and various additions and modifications. We did this for the Bible books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel and Joel. We included the corresponding introductions and articles. New articles have also been added:
- Revised chronology (Chronology 1a), linked to the first books of the Bible OT
- The Spirit of God in the Old Testament (Gen, Ex, Num, Ri, 1 and 2Sam, 1 and 2Kon, 1Kr, Ps, Jes, Eze, Joel, Zech)
- The Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar (Dan. 2Kon. 2Kr. Jer.).
- The Torah of the new covenant (Jer. 31:33), (Dan. 2Kon. 2Kr. Jer)
The New Testament
The commentary has been rewritten in a new format, we have updated the information and expanded the commentary for the Bible books Galatians 1-2, 1 Tim. 1 and Titus 2. New articles regarding the New Testament have also been added.
