Over the past few years, a lot of work has been done behind the scenes to keep the Study Bible up to date. All of this has been improved and modified:

In 2023:

Revision of the commentary on the books of the Bible 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Ester, Job, 1 and 2 Thessalonians and the conclusion of Matthew. Twenty-one articles were revised and six new articles were added:

• Justification in Thessalonians
• The holy kiss in the NT
• The inclusion of the congregation
• Works of law
• Name study Petrus
• Name study Titus

In 2024:

Revision of the commentary on the books of the Bible Psalms, Daniel, Proverbs, Song of Songs, Titus 1. Twenty-four articles were revised and eight new articles were added:

• Archaeology Ester
• Introduction Matthew
• Introduction 1-2 Thessalonians
• Genealogy of Jesus
• Are the Herodians Essenes?
• Two forms of discipleship
• Name study Philippi
• Name study Bethlehem

What else has been improved?

• In recent times, there has been new literature appeared and new archaeological discoveries have been made, these have been incorporated into the text or footnotes.
• Some sentences are now clearer formulated, and sometimes the application is extensive.
• When writing the commentary at the time, it was only possible to refer to previous commentaries. Since the Study Bible is now complete, it is also possible to refer to the explanations in the following books of the Bible. This is especially important in the EXCURSES.
• Furthermore, the Septuagint (LXX) and added an English translation of the LXX.
• We also worked on the usability of the app through technical improvements. For example, folding out article content by default.
